We are official!

As of June 29, 2013, James Toland Vocal Arts has officially completed all the steps to qualify as a non-profit organization! With the determination letter from the IRS from that date, along with our California incorporation on September 21, 2012, we are now a fully fledged 501 (c) (3) company.This means that all donations made to JTVA are tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law. This is a wonderful and eagerly awaited step forward for the development of our organization.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has supported us with your contributions and pledges! We will be sending out official thank you letters in the weeks to come to all those who have donated.

So many of you kind hearted and generous people have made it possible for us to move ahead with planning for our first vocal competition. Please plan to attend next summer to see what you have made possible.

LOOKING AHEAD

We are setting up plans for a second competition in the summer of 2015. That means we will begin this year to seek pledges and donations so that we will have the resources in hand well before 2015 rolls around. We will look to all of you who have given so generously and enthusiastically as well as new donors.
